DETAILED DAY-WISE ITINERARY
Start early from Delhi for a scenic 9-hour drive. As the plains turn into winding mountain roads, enjoy the changing landscape. Reach the "Queen of Hills" by evening and relax at your resort to acclimatize to the mountain air.

Morning visit to Kufri for panoramic Himalayan views and optional yak rides. Afternoon visit to Jakhu Temple via ropeway.
The Shimla Walking Circuit: Experience the "Pedestrian Only" heart of Shimla. Walk from Kali Bari Temple through the historic Mall Road, Scandal Point, and The Ridge. End your evening shopping for wooden artifacts at Lakkar Bazaar.

A beautiful 8-hour drive toward Manali. Stop at the turquoise Sunder Nagar Lake, the massive Pandoh Dam, and a traditional Shawl Factory in Kullu for authentic mountain woolens.

📋 GENERAL BOOKING & SIGHTSEEING POLICY
- Hotel Selection: As per preference. If sold out, a similar category is provided. We are not responsible for standard hotel category amenities (WiFi speed, etc.).
- Sightseeing Constraints: Factors like weather, traffic, political events, or distance may lead to schedule changes. We cannot guarantee all spots if time constraints arise.
- Timing: Vehicle is available from 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM. Late-night usage may incur extra charges.
- Payments: Failure to clear payments as per schedule will lead to service termination. No refunds for Blackout dates/Long weekends.
- Physical Needs: Please communicate specific physical concerns in advance.
- Check-in/out: Standard 14:00 hrs (In) / 11:00 hrs (Out). No shows considered after 22:00 hrs.
- Documentation: Govt ID / Passport / Visa required on arrival.
- Amendments: Customizations during or 7 days prior to the trip may incur extra charges.
- No Show: Rooms not occupied by 22:00 hrs are considered “No Shows” unless prior notice is given.
- Local Cab Requirement: In certain zones like Rohtang Pass (Manali) or for specific sightseeing in Dharamshala/Dalhousie, local Taxi Unions may prohibit “Outside/Long-route” vehicles. In such cases, guests must hire a local union cab.
- Note: The cost of these local cabs is generally not included in the package unless explicitly mentioned.
- Unforeseeable Blockages: Himachal is prone to landslides and heavy snowfall. If a road is blocked, Emerald Tours will provide the best possible alternative. However, any additional costs (extra night stay, extra kilometers for a detour, or change of hotel) will be borne by the guest.
- Rohtang Pass: Visit is subject to weather conditions and the availability of NGT permits.
- Mountain Driving: To ensure engine safety and power on steep climbs, Air Conditioning (AC) will be switched off in hill sections. AC is only functional in the plains (Delhi/Chandigarh/Kalka).
- Room Heaters: Unlike Rajasthan/Gujarat, heaters are a necessity here. Most hotels charge extra for room heaters (approx. ₹300–₹800 per night). These are to be paid by the guest directly at the reception unless part of your specific “Premium” inclusions.
- Mall Road & No-Vehicle Zones – Walking Requirement: Most Himachal towns (Shimla, Manali, Dalhousie) have strict “No-Vehicle” Mall Roads. The vehicle will drop guests at the nearest authorized parking. Guests must be prepared to walk or take a public elevator/local shuttle (Self-paid).
- Sightseeing Constraints: Schedule changes may occur due to weather, traffic, or distance constraints. “Sightseeing like Rohtang Pass, Atal Tunnel, or Sissu may be restricted by authorities without prior notice due to snow. No refunds are applicable for such government-mandated closures.”
- Timing & Night Driving-Safety First: Due to mountain safety protocols, driving after 08:00 PM on hill roads is strictly discouraged and only allowed in emergencies.
💳 CANCELLATION & FLIGHT POLICY
- Non-Refundable: No refunds on blackout dates/long weekends.
- Cancellation Fee : Regardless of reason, cancellations are costly. To offset these costs, the following fees will apply. If you cancel, non-recoverable expenses of $100 per person will be charged and over and above that the following will be charged on cancellation of a tour.
- Refundable Amount :
- Cancelled 30 days or more prior to trip start date: 35 % of total package cost.
- Cancelled between 15 – 30 days prior to trip start date: 50 % of total package cost.
- Cancelled between 14 days to 7 days prior to trip start date: 80 % of total package cost.
- Cancellation less than 7 Days prior to trip start date: 100 % of package cost will be charged.
- Postponement: Postponing may incur a rebooking fee. Post-postponement cancellations forfeit all amounts.
- Flight Policy: We act as facilitators. Carrier terms apply. We are not responsible for airline delays.
- Credit Note: A 6-month Credit Note will be provided for the possible refundable amount depending on the Selected Hotels and time period of cancellation .
